Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday appealed to the people not to be afraid of Corona virus. He said that we have enough stock of essentials and medicines. So do not rush to the shops to buy goods.
The Chief Minister announced that 15 lakh daily wage labourers and 20.37 lakh labourers in the construction sector will all be given 1000 rupees to meet their daily needs.
CM Yogi said that a total of 23 cases of corona virus have been reported in the state. Nine people have improved in this. Uttar Pradesh has a sufficient number of isolation wards. All metro rail, state and city bus services of the state will be closed tomorrow. He appealed to the people of the country for a ‘Janata Curfew’ on 22 March.
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government had ordered closure of all malls, schools and colleges in the state till April 2, in view of the threat of coronavirus. All the unnecessary offices and services under the UP government have also been closed till 2 March. In the order issued by the Yogi government, it has been clearly said that no religious, social, cultural program will be organized till April 2.
