New Delhi: The death toll in the violence in North East Delhi over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been steadily increasing. On Sunday, Delhi Police officials confirmed that three more bodies were found. Officials said that one body has been recovered from the drain of Gokalpuri, while two bodies have been recovered from the drain of Bhagirathi Vihar.
As of now, these bodies have not been identified, police officers are busy investigating the case.
Riots started in North East Delhi from last Sunday which continued for three days. So far 45 people have died and over 200 people are injured.
At present, the situation is slowly returning to normal after the strict police administration in North East Delhi.
However, with each passing day, the death toll also seems to be increasing. On Sunday too, Delhi Police officials confirmed that the three bodies were found.
