Mhow: A Kanwaria pilgrim lost his life and three others sustained burns on Monday when they were dancing atop a vehicle and came in contact with a live wire near Mendi village at Mhow Tehsil of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, sources said.

As the pilgrims were dancing atop the vehicle to the tune of devotional songs, they were oblivious of the high-tension wire over their heads, an official said. When one of them identified as Raunak raised his head, he touched the high-tension wire and died on the spot. Three other pilgrims sustained burns. One of the injured was rushed to MY Hospital in Indore where his condition was stated to be critical.
