Lucknow: A birthday party at the outdoor patients’ department (OPD) at the Civil Hospital in Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh, has kicked up a row. After a video clip of the incident went viral on social media, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak who also looks after the health department ordered a probe into the case on Monday. As soon as the inquiry report is received action will be taken against the guilty, Pathak said.

Some people, with their faces smeared with cake, are seen in the video clip. According to the director of the Civil Hospital Dr Anand Ojha, the video clip came to his notice and he has ordered an inquiry into it. A team has begun to sift through the video clip, and the hospital management will take action against those attending a party.
