Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress Release 1st List of 22 Candidates

Captain Amarinder Singh, the head of the Punjab Lok Congress and a former Chief Minister, announced his party’s first list of 22 candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections on Sunday.

Two candidates were chosen from Majha, three from Doaba, and 17 from the Malwa region, according to Amarinder Singh.

At a news conference, Captain Amarinder Singh remarked, “The second list is likely to be revealed in two days.”

The Punjab Lok Congress (PLC), led by Amarinder Singh, is running in Uttar Pradesh with the BJP’s Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa-led Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt). A common manifesto will be drafted by the three parties. The Punjab Assembly Elections for 117 seats will take place on February 20 and the results will be counted on March 10.
