How to reduce hunger pangs?

Hunger pangs, also known as hunger pains usually occur when the stomach is empty. Hunger pangs may include tiredness, irritation and pains in the stomach. It can also lead to eating junk food or outside food like pizza, burgers, etc. Hence, one needs to reduce their hunger pangs to stay fit and fine.

Here are some tips to help you reduce hunger pangs:

1) First and foremost, maintain a regular diet and get enough sleep.

2) Increase the intake of high-fibre foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans in your diet so that it makes you feel full.

3) Include one-time vegetable soup in your diet. Also, add plenty of salads in lunch and dinner.

4) Having different types of meals is good and healthy too. Don’t stick to only rice or only chapati. Have a variety in your meal with soup, salad, fruits, juices etc. so that can reduce your feeling of emptiness in the stomach.

5) Drink one or two glasses of milk everyday as liquid content is also good for health.

6) Eat nuts after meals as they are high in fats and gives lot of vitamins and proteins.

7) Eat slowly so that your brain gives a message to your stomach about your food intake and you will be less likely to overeat.
