Tips to stay safe during workouts outside the house


Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was recently seen running inside her building complex without a mask in Unlock Phase 1.

Another actress Rakul Preet Singh wore a mask and went cycling to stay fit.

Although Kareena received criticism for not wearing a mask, many experts feel that if social distancing is followed properly, mask may not be required for jogging and running as it can increase heart rate while carrying out the activity.

Here are some tips to stay safe while doing workouts:

1) People with heart-related illnesses are advised to do their cardio workouts only at home.

2) If one wants, one can jog outside the home wearing a mask but the mask shouldn’t lead to poor breathing and other illnesses.

3) If one is exercising outside (not jogging or running), then wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Home workouts are also a good option as they are more problem-free and makes you less worried about the onlookers and social distancing factors.
