The ninth day of Navratri festival is celebrated on 25 October 2020. The festival celebrates the worship of Goddess Siddhidatri who is the ninth form of NavaDurga. The day falls in the Maha Navami Tithi.

Siddhi means supernatural powers and Dharti means giver. Thus, Goddess Siddhidhatri is said to fulfill all the divine desires of her devotees and remove ignorance from their lives.

On Maha Navami day, Goddess Durga is worshipped as Mahisasura mardini, means the goddess who killed the buffalo demon.
