Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently in Tihar Jail and according to the report his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, has not been allowed to visit him.
The reason behind this is a scheduled meeting between the Chief Minister and Delhi Minister Atishi on the same day. Also, Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to meet Mr. Kejriwal the following day.
According to Tihar Jail’s rules, a prisoner can have only two visitors at a time. Given the visits by Atishi and Bhagwant Mann, Mrs. Kejriwal will have to wait until the following week.
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21st over allegations connected to a liquor policy case in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Sunita Kejriwal leading her first roadshow in Delhi in support of AAP’s candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
