Tips to stay healthy at home during coronavirus

World Health Organization stated today that India is a devastating reminder of what a virus can do. Indeed, we are all in a danger zone, and that is the reality. Whether you agree with it or not, and let me tell you that this is not meant to create panic. But the reality is that the second wave of coronavirus is seeing a rising number of cases every day all over the country.

Stay home and be safe. Go out only during an emergency, otherwise, you shouldn’t shy away from exploring options from home delivery of grocery, food, vegetables, milk, and fruits. Why risk life when you can get these via an app or a nearby store? In case you cannot get them home-delivered, then go out only once in four days in order to protect yourself from the virus which can be anywhere and everywhere at this season of your life.

Here are some tips to stay healthy at home:

Clean your home at regular intervals of time. It is important that you wipe the touched surfaces like refrigerator handles, doorknobs, etc.

Exercise is a must. You don’t need to set up a gym, just keep your body moving by doing your regular chores like wiping the floors, washing utensils, stretching your legs, hands, and body to stay physically active.

Eat a nutritious diet. You don’t need to be a chef to cook delicious food. Just a simple rasam rice, dal rice, chapati bhaji with enough vegetables and fruits intake along with milk and buttermilk can be a good food intake to keep you away from the virus or any other disease.

Follow the Golden rule of washing your hands and face regularly with soap water.

Be hopeful and think good. Do not get carried away by the everyday news and various reports that keep circulating on the internet about the ending of the world. Do whatever you like, listen to music, watch some good television serials or movies or web series, do your office work or college studies and keep your mind engaged with productive activities.

If you show any symptoms of COVID-19, get yourself tested and approach a medical practitioner immediately. Do not panic, self-isolate yourself, wear a mask and follow the medical advice.
