The clash between student groups at Lucknow university resulted in the ban of birthday celebrations in the university. We often hear about student clashes in the university and schools, these things sometimes become very violent and result in a stir in educational institutions.
Two groups in Lucknow university clashed during a birthday celebration in the commerce canteen. Following this, the proctor’s office has issued directives to ban all sorts of celebrations on the university campus. After the clash guidelines were issued and hence the law and order were maintained.
According to the information received the students entered into a fight during the birthday celebrations. The owners of the canteen have been issued a notice of no celebration, and in any case, if the students insist or request they must complain to the higher authority.
Chief proctor Professor Rakesh Dwivedi has asked all the canteen owners to arrange CCTV cameras outside the shop, and none of the students would be allowed to park two-wheelers near the canteen area. Following this, he added that it would be the responsibility of the canteen owners that no outsider will be allowed in the canteen.
