Mathura (UP): The district administration has stepped up security because of a call given by Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) to recite Hanuman Chalisa and the “birthplace” of Krishna at Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex on Tuesday to observe the 30th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya. The mosque was flattened on August 6, 1992.
According to senior superintendent of police Shailesh, neither any permission was sought nor any permission was granted. He said that the administration would not allow any such thing, as it violates the law.
The personnel of the Central Reserve Police are guarding the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex and Shahi Eidgah, besides extra policemen have been deployed there, he said.
Over the past ten days, the Mathura police registered cases against a few people for making provocative appeals to the people in connection December 6.
