Auto Desk – KTM is bringing its RC Cup amateur racing series to India on Jan 2023 with regional rounds across 8 cities – Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Winners selected from each city will compete at the Madras International Circuit Chennai.
The KTM RC 390 GP Edition bike will be used in the race and the winner will get a chance to train with KTM experts in Austria.
Notably, Former MotoGP racer and current KTM Test and Development rider, Jeremy McWilliams has been announced as the race director for this series, and Seven-time Indian National Motorcycle Racing Champion Emmanuel Jebaraj will also support the series.
In addition, the top 3 winners of the KTM RC Cup India will get to visit KTM’s HQ in Austria to train with the experts. Also, they closely interact with KTM Factory Racing athletes and attend a MotoGP race.
Registrations of the KTM RC Cup for the regional qualifiers will begin soon.
