Auto Desk – Maruti Suzuki India and Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the Grand Vitara CNG and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG in December 2022. However, bookings are open for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG.
Grand Vitara CNG and Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG employ the 1.5-liter engine that can develop 101PS of max power and 136Nm of peak torque in the petrol mode and 88PS of max power and 121Nm of peak torque in the CNG mode. Both vehicles will get a 5-speed manual transmission option.
Maruti sells the Grand Vitara from its Nexa retail channel and right now the Baleno and the XL6 are two Nexa models that have a CNG option.
Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG is in two mid-spec variants, S and G. Also, Maruti is expected to bring Grand Vitara CNG in either Delta and Zeta variants or only Zeta variants.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has priced between Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is priced between Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh. This is the excepted price.
