Jammu and Kashmir: The incidents of targeted killing by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir will not stop until justice is served, said leader of the National Conference Farooq Abdullah. He said, “This will never stop unless justice is served. Earlier, they said such killings are happening due to Article 370, but it’s abrogated now, so why such killings have not yet stopped? Who is responsible?”

Abdullah made the statement reacting to the killing of Puran Kisan Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit on Saturday when he was going to his orchard. In the aftermath of the incident, Kashmiri Pandits blocked a road. A terror outfit Kashmir Freedom Fighters claimed the responsibility for killing Bhat, the police said.

A report from Srinagar says a group of activists on Monday ransacked the office of separatist group All parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) in Srinagar, the police said, adding that the office was shut. The protesters removed the signboard of the APHC and wrote “India” at the main gate of the office at Rajbagh. The protesters said that they had done that in retaliation against the killing of Bhat in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An all-party meeting is going on at the residence of Abdullah in Jammu on the roll revision, ahead of the assembly elections which may be held next year.
