In order to take the nation to newer heights, the government is working hard and making every effort to get more discipline and have a better education system that can support the bigger dreams of this generation.

On 16th October 2022, a historic movement took place in Uttarakhand; as the state launched a new education policy starting with primary education with Bal Vatikas.

Respected and honorable Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the National Education Policy for the academic session 2022-23.

With the launch, the government will ensure that enough efforts are being made by local authorities to make 100 percent of children join Bal Vatikas and be a part of the development program.

The policy has been designed considering all aspects of human life and requirements at every life stage. Not only education, but the importance has also been given to new skill development and personality enhancement through various activities of children and inculcating in them moral values as well which is the first step.

As per the new education policy, the formal education age of children has been revised to 3 years. The idea behind this initiative is to  build a new, modern, strong, and self-reliant India of the 21st century.

The new policy has come alive with the hard work of a lot of departments. The curriculum was prepared after several rounds of meetings at various levels and suggestions from the public were also incorporated.
