Rajgarh (MP): A motorist has been booked for slapping a woman worker at a toll plaza following a dispute over road tax in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday, the police said on Sunday. The incident, which took place at a toll plaza on the Rajgarh-Bhopal road on Saturday afternoon under the Biaora Dehat police station, came to light after a video clip of the episode went viral on social media.

A resident of Jarkadiyakhedi village Rajkumar Gurjar slapped a woman staffer working at the toll plaza for demanding road tax from him. As the woman asked for Aadhar card to show that he was a local resident to get exemption from paying road tax at the tool plaza, the man hit her.

According to in charge of Biaora Dehad police station Ramkumar Raghuvanshi, Gurjar’s vehicle did not carry a FASTag- electronic toll payment system. The police are searching for Gurjar who is absconding.
