Lucknow: The number of people infected with the corona virus in Uttar Pradesh has exceeded 2200 and despite the lockdown, the infection does not seem to stop. People are facing a lot of trouble due to the lockdown. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again announced to give relief to 16 category workers in rural and urban areas.
Yogi Adityanath has said that the Uttar Pradesh government here has 16 categories of workers – Dhobi, Mistry, Mochi, construction workers, daily earners – Theli, Khomcha, Rehdi, Rickshaw, E-Rickshaw, Coolie, rural and urban areas. Arrangements have been made to provide maintenance allowance for barber, potters, masons etc.
He said that till now such facility has been provided to all other workers along with 30 lakh construction workers. Today, we are once again releasing the amount of maintenance allowance to our 30 lakh working class for the second time.
Apart from this, CM Yogi Adityanath said that any laborer or worker of UP trapped in another state due to lockdown can use his ration card number and take advantage of it there. For those who do not have ration cards, food packets are being made available under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
