Ministry of Ayush takes support of Anushka Sharma to promote yoga

Bollywood actress and producer Anushka Sharma has been roped in by the Ministry of Ayush to promote yoga among the people of the country as International Yoga Day falls on 21 June 2020.

“Let’s all practice yoga for a better and calm tomorrow. Take part in the #MyLifeMyYoga video blogging contest. And send in your entries now. Last day to submit is 21st June 2020. #mygovindia #pibindia @AnushkaSharma,” tweeted the Ministry of Ayush recently.

The Ministry also shared a video where Anushka can be seen talking about the importance and benefits of practicing yoga.

Anushka shared, “Yoga is the law and it tells us about how to moderate leading our lives. Yoga does not bind us, it liberates us. So, that we can look upon all the creatures of this world with the feeling of love and peace. So, in order to spread the message of peace and love let us begin by practicing yoga on 21 June International Yoga Day.”

On the professional front, Anushka Sharma is going to release her upcoming production “Bulbbul”, which is a period horror thriller film on OTT platform Netflix.

Set in 19th century Bengal, the story of Bulbbul starts with a child marriage. The role of Bulbbul is played by actress Tripti Dimri, who gets married to Mahendra, played by Rahul Bose who is very old for her as her husband.

In personal front, Anushka is happily married with cricketer Virat Kohli and is spending good quality time with her husband, which is visible on her Instagram pictures and videos.
