Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has been invited as a guest speaker at a virtual summit Girl Up Leadership Summit.
She would be joining some of the influential female leaders and celebrities such as First Lady Michelle Obama, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Nadia Murad, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and actress Jameela Jamil to share her views on gender equality.
Priyanka recently celebrated completing 20 years in Bollywood. The gorgeous actress has had a long journey of acting, producing movies, transitioning to Hollywood, being a part of talk shows, supporting noble causes and even investing in promising startups.
Gender equality has been a subject that invites many suggestions and opinions. Even though men and women are considered to be equal on the paper or by law, but still at the grassroots level, women are far behind than men in all aspects due to lack of equal treatment.
Equality is possible only when both men and women come to a common consensus of what it is that is feasible for both of them and can be achieved to make this a world a better place to live in.
