Ujjain: Notorious gangster Vikas Dubey has been arrested in Ujjain for allegedly brutally killing eight policemen in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur last week. Vikas first reached Delhi-NCR after executing the incident at Chaubepur in Kanpur, but after tremendous police rage, he again reached Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, where he was arrested by MP police.

Accused gangster Vikas Dubey was seen on Tuesday at a hotel in Faridabad, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. But when the police reached there to raid, he had left from there. The special task force engaged in catching the notorious criminal confirmed that the person seen in the CCTV in Faridabad was Vikas Dubey. After this, the high alert was also released in Gurugram.

From there, gangster Vikas Dubey escaped towards Madhya Pradesh. Vikas reached the Mahakal temple complex in Ujjain at 8 am on Thursday, when the shopkeeper got suspicious when Vikas went to collect offerings . The shopkeeper told the security people of the temple. When he came out after worshiping, the security people brought him. Asked to show ID which was made in someone else’s name. Later the police came and arrested him.

Earlier this morning, in the encounter, the police have killed two more associates of Vikas Dubey, Prabhat Mishra and Baun. Both criminals, considered close to Vikas Dubey, were involved in the Kanpur case. Prabhat was killed in an encounter in Panki police station area of ​​Kanpur. Prabhat was arrested from Faridabad and was being brought on remand, where he tried to escape by snatching the police weapon and was killed. Prabhat tried unsuccessfully to run away as the police car was punctured. Prabhat snatched the police weapon and opened fire in which two police personnel were injured. Prabhat was a resident of Bikaru village.
