New Delhi: In Varanasi, an elderly person infected with the corona virus has died. This is the first case in Purvanchal in Uttar Pradesh. The deceased was admitted to BHU for the last few days. He died on Sunday morning. This person has been found corona positive in medical examination. He was a resident of Gangapur area. According to District Magistrate Kaushalraj Sharma, the elderly came to their home from Kolkata on March 15. After this, he was admitted to BHU after complaining of a cold, cold and sore throat. He was admitted to the ICU when the situation worsened. He died on April 3 during treatment. The medical report was found to be elderly corona positive after death. Earlier, two more people died of corona virus in Shamli and Gorakhpur.
According to District Magistrate Kaushalraj Sharma, the area around the elderly house in Gangapur has been sealed. Neighbours will also undergo medical examination along with the family. The travel history of the elderly is being investigated. Tell that till now there have been 234 cases of corona virus in Uttar Pradesh, while the number of people who have died in the country has become 104.
