Two more corona patients died in Indore, death toll reached 74

Indore: Two more patients have been confirmed dead from this epidemic in Indore, which is among the districts most affected by the corona virus outbreak in the country. With this, the number of patients who died after infection with the virus has reached 74 in the district. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Praveen Jadia said on Saturday that two women, who were found to be infected with covid-19, breathed their last during the last six days at different hospitals in the district. Both women were aged 55–55 years.

They reported that one of these women was suffering from a chronic disease of severe anemia, while the other woman was already battling high blood pressure and diabetes. CMHO said that after the arrival of 32 more patients of corona virus during the last 24 hours in the district covered by the Red Zone, the number of people who have been affected by this epidemic has increased from 1,513 to 1,545. Out of these, more than 250 patients have been discharged from the hospitals on getting infection free after treatment. The analysis of the latest data shows that the mortality rate of Kovid-19 patients in the district as on Saturday morning was 4.79 percent.
