Lucknow: Corona virus epidemic is increasing continuously in Uttar Pradesh. Today 536 new cases have been registered in the state while 20 people have died. The total number of active cases is now 4642.
With the death of 20 more people due to corona virus in Uttar Pradesh, the number of dead on Friday increased to 365 while 12, 616 cases of infection have been reported. Principal Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad informed that at present there are 4642 under-infection cases in the state. So far 7609 people have been discharged from hospitals.
15607 sample tests were conducted in Uttar Pradesh yesterday. A target of 20 thousand test daily capacity has been set by the end of June. So far, 4 lakh 19 thousand 994 samples have been tested in various laboratories in the state. So far 7609 people have returned home after recovering completely. Our recovery rate is 60.31%.
