Corona positive patient no longer required to go to COVID care center in Delhi

New Delhi: The government of Delhi and LG were face to face with the Corona patients being sent to the Covid Center amid the ever increasing corona cases in the capital of the country. But today’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal backed down from his decision. It will no longer be mandatory for Corona positive to go to Covid Care Center in Delhi.

The decision was taken in the meeting of Delhi Disaster Management Authority. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has withdrawn his decision. That is, if there is a corona positive in Delhi, then they will not have to go to the Covid Care Center and do their testing. Rather, under the old system, the people of the government and administration will come home and do clinical assessment and physical assessment to see if the corona positive person is able to live in home isolation.

Earlier on Wednesday, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia raised the issue of implementing the old system of home isolation. Sisodia had requested Home Minister Amit Shah to re-implement the old system. Sisodia said in the conference that the person found corona positive either wants to stay home or wants to go to the hospital but due to the order of LG Sahab, everyone now wants to stay home.

On Tuesday, he had a press conference and told that he has also written letters to the Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal and Amit Shah in this regard.
