Patna: Thunderstorms have wreaked havoc in Bihar amid Corona crisis. So far 83 people have died due to lightning in the state. The government has intensified relief work.
Along with this, heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts including North Bihar for today and tomorrow. According to the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, Araria and Kishanganj districts have been kept in the Red Zone.
The torrential rains in Gopalganj killed 13 people, while seven people were injured. The injured are being treated in different hospitals in the district, while in Siwan, 5 people have died due to lightning.
