Meerut: Corona continues to wreak havoc in Meerut, the number of new patients has been increasing significantly for the last three to four days and around fifty patients are getting daily. Even today 45 new corona patients were confirmed in the city. The good thing is that the recovery rate has also increased and the chain of deaths from corona has also stopped.
According to the report of the Health Department, of the 2026 samples tested today, 45 reported positive. In this way, the total number of corona infected in Meerut has been 1254, out of which 370 people are currently under treatment while 814 people have been discharged.
Where the testing of samples is concerned, even today 2512 samples were sent for testing. Till now 38712 samples have been tested, out of which 34938 reports have come negative. The test report of 2520 samples is currently awaited.
