Lucknow: The outbreak of corona infection continues in Uttar Pradesh, the number of deaths is increasing continuously. Today 5423 new cases were registered in the state. UP Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 59 people died due to covid in the last 24 hours. At present, the number of active cases in the state has been 49242.
So far 135613 people have been discharged while 2926 people have died due to infection so far. So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has been 187781, whereas today 4318 people have been discharged.
At the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today that doctors and staff nurses posted in all covid hospitals go to the ward and treat patients. The Chief Minister said that advance strategy should be prepared to increase the number of beds in testing and covid hospitals in the state. He directed to pay special attention to the number of infected in the districts of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur Nagar, Gorakhpur etc. and said that special efforts should be made to save the lives of the infected people in these districts.
