New Delhi: Union Health Ministry Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said on Tuesday that the number of active cases of corona has come down by one and a half lakh. Kerala and Maharashtra have the most active cases, accounting for 71 percent of the total cases.

Rajesh Bhushan said, “Corona has caused 112 deaths per million population in the country.” He said, “There are less than 5,000 active cases of corona infection in 33 states. No deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours in 15 states and union territories. There are 7 states and union territories where no deaths have taken place in the last 3 weeks. ”

Bhushan said, “By this time, 63,10,194 health workers and front line workers have been given the first dose of the Kovid vaccine. We will start the second dose from 13 February. ”

The Union Health Ministry said, “We cannot keep scheduling and rescheduling healthcare workers indefinitely. States / Union Territories have been advised that all health workers should be scheduled for vaccination at least once by 20 February. States are informed from time to time. “
