New Delhi: In this world of hightech, cut … copy … paste … command has become so important that without it many important tasks can be stopped. Computer scientist Larry Tesler, who gave the theory of these three commands, died on Thursday (February 20) at the age of 74. Larry has been an important contributor to the early stages of user interface development in computers.
Tesler began working in Silicon Valley in the 1960s. At that time only few people knew computers. Larry spent much of his career in the American company Xerox. ‘
Larry was born in 1945 in the Bronx, New York. He did his studies at Stanford University, California. After graduation, he joined the user interface designer. In his early career, Larry worked at several technical institutes. They also have the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. Larry then joined Apple at the behest of Steve Jobs. He worked here for 17 years. After leaving Apple, he founded an education start up. Also he was associated with Amazon and Yahoo for some time.
