Kochi: A man who tested positive for COVID-19 in Kerala’s Thrissur, had come in contact with over a thousand people. As many as 100 persons, including two Panchayat members, have been kept in observation in the city after the development.
It was reported that infected patient had visited shopping malls and cinema theatres – prompting authorities to map the route he took after contracting the disease. A route map of places he visited will be released later today.
The Thrissur native is currently undergoing treatment at a district hospital. He was in the same flight in which the three members of the Ranni-based family, who were also diagnosed with the infection, had travelled to India from Italy. The three members of the family arrived at Kochi on February 29.
