New Delhi: In Jammu and Kashmir, the army has thwarted the terrorists’ plot to repeat Pulwama on Thursday. In fact, the security forces seized a car in Ayangund area of ​​Rajpora, in which the IED bomb was planted. The bomb planted in the car was defused in time.

According to the information, it was not possible to move the car away from its place and hence the security forces blew the car through a controlled explosion there. The car was filled with such a huge amount of explosives that when it was blown up many houses in the vicinity were damaged and a loud explosion was heard.

Giving information on its Twitter handle, Kashmir Zone Police said that on Thursday, a large IED blast was averted due to intelligence and prompt action taken by the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Pulwama Police.

Sources said that Pulwama police had received information late Wednesday night that some terrorists were going from an explosive-laden car. Through this, explosions can be done at some locations. The security forces took immediate action and sealed all the routes. During this time a suspicious car was seen. A few rounds of firing occurred on stopping. The driver then took advantage of the darkness and ran away. The security forces took the vehicle.

The security forces went near the car and placed a blue drum filled with explosives on the back seat. Security forces monitored the car overnight. After this the surrounding houses were evacuated. The vehicle was later blown up.
