The script to expel Sachin Pilot was written on Monday night

New Delhi: Congress had written the script to remove Sachin Pilot, Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena from the Council of Ministers on Monday night. According to highly placed sources, the script was written at the behest of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi decided to this effect when she was briefed on an audio and a video, which allegedly saw Vishwendra Singh, Ramesh Meena and other Sachin supporters strategizing with the BJP to topple the Gehlot government. While the audio CD had the voice of Sachin Pilot and he was talking of sidelining the Gehlot government before the Rajya Sabha elections.

When in-charge of organization affairs KC Venugopal informed Sonia Gandhi from Jaipur that despite all efforts, Sachin Pilot is adamant that Gehlot should be removed from the post of Chief Minister.

All these facts were confirmed by a party observer sent from Delhi. This supervisor also confirmed that Ahmed Patel, P Chidambaram, Priyanka Gandhi had several direct talks with Sachin Pilot, but they were not ready to bow down. Meanwhile, Sonia Gandhi also came to know that Sachin Pilot is in touch with Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Finding these facts, Sonia had only one option to take action against Sachin Pilot, Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena. Sonia Gandhi took no time in approving that proposal of KC Venugopal that these three leaders should be exempted from the Council of Ministers and Sachin should also be relieved from the post of State President.

Sonia also added that Sachin and his supporters should be given one more chance, after which Venugopal, Ajay Maken and Surjewala asked Gehlot to call another meeting of the Legislature Party, which was only intended to give Sachin Pilot and his supporters to give a chance. Keeping his stubbornness, Sachin did not care for him and refused to attend the meeting, after which the three leaders were announced to be relieved of their posts. At the moment, he has not been expelled from the party, as the Congress does not want to retain his membership in the Legislative Assembly.
