Jaipur: The case of the rebel MLAs trying to topple Ashok Gehlot’s government in Rajasthan is getting deeper. On Thursday, after the Congress revealed some audio tapes, Special Operation Group of Rajasthan Police has registered an FIR against Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat, Congress MLAs Bhanwarlal Sharma and Sanjay Jain. The Congress has directly named Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat in this audio tape.
SoG will first check the authenticity of the audio tape. In the case, the Rajasthan Special Operations Group has registered an FIR in sections 124A and 120B in the case. A case has been registered against the Union Minister under the section 124A, i.e., on charges of treason.

Meanwhile, Union Waterpower Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, while replying to the allegations of the Congress, has said that he is ready to face any investigation. The Congress has accused Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat of buying and selling MLAs on the basis of viral audio clips. To which Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has responded, saying that the alleged ‘audio tape’ that the Congress has talked about is fake.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, “I am ready to face any investigation.
