Rajasthan political crisis: High Court will decide on the fate of rebels on July 24

Jaipur: On the issue of politics in Rajasthan, the High Court has granted the Sachin Pilot Group till 24 July. The High Court told Speaker CP Joshi that you will not take any action till July 24.

Please tell that a petition was filed in the Rajasthan High Court on behalf of Sachin Pilot camp against the notice of Assembly Speaker CP Joshi. The hearing on the case started on Friday last week, today arguments were made by all the parties.

At the same time, the Congress Legislature Party meeting is going on in the capital Jaipur. The Congress has demanded that the rebel MLAs should be disqualified, about which the Speaker has sent a notice and sought a response till last Friday. After which the MLA of Pilot camp had approached the High Court and challenged.

On Friday, a bench of Justices Inderjit Mahanti and Justice Prakash Gupta accepted. Arguments were heard till evening on Monday, but no decision has been given yet. The court hearing began at 10:30 am on Tuesday morning, after which the court said that all the MLAs should file their replies in writing by 2 pm. Pilot and other Congress MLAs appeared on behalf of Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi and argued in the court on behalf of the petitioners.

Appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mukul Rohatgi said that the corona is an epidemic crisis at the moment and given three days to respond to the notice, while as per the rules it should be extended to seven days.

In fact, CM Ashok Gehlot has alleged that Sachin Pilot along with his rebel MLAs were plotting to bring down the government. Regarding this, CM Gehlot had also released an audio recording clip last Thursday in which horse-trading was alleged.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has called for cabinet meeting of his government at 5 pm today. Earlier, he addressed a CLP meeting of Rajasthan MLAs and other senior leaders of the party at the Farimont Hotel amid the political crisis in the state.
