New Delhi: The meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the party’s highest policy-making unit, started on Monday as the party was seen to be in a position in the two camps on the issue of leadership in the Congress. This meeting is taking place through video conference. Meanwhile, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi offered to step down at the CWC meeting, after which former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and several party leaders urged her to continue in the post.
