New Delhi: It has been claimed by China that there was a clash between India and Chinese troops late on Monday (September 7). China has accused Indian troops of crossing the border and firing. Meanwhile, the Chinese military has denied the allegations by issuing a statement from the Indian Army. Regarding the ongoing tension between India and China in Ladakh, the Indian Army has said that we did not make any effort to cross the LAC. The firing on the LAC has been done by China. While China has claimed that Indian troops made any attempt and firing to cross the LAC.

The Indian Army has said that China is consistently violating the agreement and adopting an aggressive attitude. While negotiations continue between the two countries at the military, diplomatic and political levels.

The Indian Army has clearly stated that while India is committed to disengaging and de-escalating the situation on China LAC, China is continuing its provocative activities to escalate the situation. At any stage the Indian Army did not cross the LAC and did not use any offensive methods, including firing.

While dismissing and refuting China’s claims, India said that PLA personnel acted provocatively. The Army stated clearly that it did not cross the Line of Actual Control (LAC) nor fired. The Indian Army has also said that India never wants war. We are totally in favor of peace.
