Patna: Rashtriya Lok Samata Party has merged with Janata Dal United. The RGSP’s JDU had been heard for many months, but after today’s political activity, these speculations in Bihar politics came to an end.
Kushwaha said in a press conference after the party’s national council meeting that he passed the resolution in the state council meeting held yesterday and he was authorized for a unanimous decision. The same agenda was discussed in detail in the meeting of the National Council today. He said that it was decided in the meeting that people of like-minded people whom Bihar has accepted should stand with them.
On the merger of the party, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party President Upendra Kushwaha said that we have decided that the convoy of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party will now work under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the situation of the country and the state. He said that we will work together with JDU.
