Srinagar: A BDC member and his personal security personnel were killed and another person injured in a terrorist attack on Monday in Sopore area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to police information, the militants opened fire on BDC member Riyaz Ahmed and his security guard Shafat Ahmed outside the municipality office in Sopore. Police personnel Shafaqat Ahmad and Councilor Riyaz Ahmad were killed and another councilor Shams-ud-din Pir was injured in this terrorist incident. The entire area has been sealed after the attack. A siege has been launched to capture the attackers.
