Domestic flights will resume from Monday

New Delhi: Domestic passenger flights are scheduled to resume from Monday after a gap of two months. But different states have decided their own terms and conditions, because they are contradictory. States such as Maharashtra, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu have opposed the opening of airports in view of increasing cases of corona virus infection. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult for airlines and civil aviation officials to resume services.

The above three state airports are among the busiest airports in the country by number of passengers. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Sunday tweeted that reopening of airports in Red Zone areas is a ‘very wrong idea’.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also said that she would ask the Center to postpone the work of restarting Kolkata and Bagdora airports. On Sunday afternoon, AirAsia India tweeted that all passengers should read the health safety regulations of their destination states. She will not be responsible for any passenger’s quarantine or expenses related to it
