Hotels and lodges will open in Maharashtra from July 8

Mumbai: Hotels and lodges in Maharashtra will start functioning again from 8 July. They are allowed to work with only 33 percent capacity from the government.

Hotels and lodges in Maharashtra were closed after the lockdown that began on March 24 across the country. Now, there was a demand to open them during the ongoing unlocking process across the country. The state government has now issued adequate precautionary guidelines and allowed hotels and lodges to be opened. The order issued by the Maharashtra government said that now lockout-5 can now start facilities like hotels and lodges except for the hotspot area. But hotel owners have to take full care of the physical distance rules.

It is noteworthy that in Maharashtra, the number of corona infected patients has crossed two lakhs whereas 8,822 patients have died due to this epidemic.
