The Carlyle Group, an American multinational private equity, alternative asset management and financial services corporation has declared the appointment of Aditya Puri as a senior advisor in Asia.
Earlier, Aditya Puri served as the managing director of HDFC Bank, which is the country’s biggest private sector bank. From starting his career in September 1994 at HDFC Bank, Puri has come a long way in serving as chief executive of the private bank in India.
Now in his new beginning at The Carlyle Group, Puri hopes to provide suggestions and insights on the evolving market landscape and new investment opportunities.
He also aims to advise Carlyle’s investment professionals and portfolio management teams on developing differentiated high quality businesses.
Puri also has experience of working as the CEO of CitiBank wherein he reviewed various parts of the bank’s activities across India, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and mainland China.
