New Delhi: CBSE said that the academic session 2021-22 of class 10th and 12th will be divided into two parts and about 50 per cent syllabus will be kept in each session. According to the new decision, the 10th and 12th examinations will now be held twice a year. Like the previous session, the syllabus for 2021-22 will also be cut. Notification regarding this will be issued this month.
According to CBSE, the academic session 2021-22 has been divided into two parts on the basis of systematic approach. CBSE will conduct the examination twice a year on the basis of the divided syllabus. CBSE issued a detailed statement saying that this has been done so that there are chances of conducting 10th and 12th examinations till the end of the academic session. However, for the academic session, schools will have to follow the syllabus and syllabus issued by the board. Schools will have the option to use the alternate academic calendar and take inputs from NCERT to implement the syllabus.
CBSE board has also said that efforts will be made to make internal assessment/ practical/ project work more reliable. Also, it will be valid as per the announced guidelines and moderation policy for equal marks distribution to all.
