After slitting the throat of the woman, the man ran away, but the police arrested him within three hours of the incident.

According to deputy commissioner of Lucknow Police SM Qasim Abidi, the incident took place in Rajauli village on Sunday when the woman Shahida Bano was working in her farmland, a few meters away from her house.
