Varanasi: The remark against the Prophet by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Neevan Kumar Jindal is taking a new twist with each passing day after the criticism of the gulf countries. A new narrative is coming out almost daily. On June 3, there were communal clashes in Kanpur and other places. There was a threat on Sharma’s life. The police have, however, yet to find out who issued that threat to her. Now, the Kashi Dharam Parishad and seers related to it have demanded a complete lockdown of the mosques from where stones are being pelted and imposition of NSA on the jihadis who threatened Sharma.

The violence that is being unleashed is unacceptable. The government should take immediate steps to stop this.” They demanded that the ‘jihadis’ who make derogatory remarks against Hindu deities and make jokes in films should be sent to jails and their properties confiscated..
