Kaushambi: A goods train that was going to Kanpur ran over a female student of BA first year at Bharwari railway station in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday evening, an official of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) said. The incident occurred when the 18-year-old girl Rinki was crossing the railway line at platform number 1 of the station. She died on the spot, the official said. According to RPF in charge Surendra Bhaskar, the father of the girl Ramvishal works in the engineering department of the Bharwari railway station on the Delhi-Howrah route. Her body has been sent for post mortem.
