Lucknow: BSP Chief Mayawati expelled former minister Nakul Dubey from the party on saturday late evening. Mayawati herself tweeted about it. According to her tweet Nakul was engaged in anti party activities so he was expelled.
Nakul dubey was once acclaimed as the prominent brahmin face of the party. He was the cabinet minister in the Mayawati lead BSP full majority government in 2007. He was known among one of the powerful ministers of her cabinet.

Nakul was an MLA from Mahona seat in Lucknow, which is no longer in existence. After the seat changed, he wasn’t able win even a single time. In 2019 loksabha election, Nakul contested as a candidate of BSP-SP alliance, from Sitapur, but wasn’t able to be victorious.
Nakul may join BJP
Sources says that Nakul may join BJP in the recent time. Mayawati is not happy with the efforts of Nakul in favour of the party. Moreover it is said that in the recent time, Nakul meet Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak. Both Pathak and Dubey are the products of Lucknow University.

The information reached to Mayawati and that’s why she expelled him from the party. Sources say that Brijesh offered Nkaul to join the saffron party and he was thinking too. Before he could have taken any decision about it, Mayawati expelled him and made his path clear to join the BJP.
