Farrukhabad: Five-star rating delicious food is available Fategarh jail in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh. One may visit there to have a bite of it. This is what the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) says. The FSSAI certificate has declared the district jail in Fategarh as Eat Right Campus. The food quality is excellent, says the certificate which is valid up August 18, 2024.
According to jailor Akhilesh Kumar, FSSAI has issued the certificate after a third-party audit. The certificate includes quality of food, hygiene, purchase of rice, wheat and pulses. Aside from that, the staff serving the food are well-dressed and one may think that they are from some five-star hotels. Vegetarian food is served in the jail. Not only that, the prisoners get different dishes daily. There is something more to add to your tang. On the first, third and last Sunday evenings hot Puri Sabzi and Halwa are served.
