Lucknow: After another defeat in Uttar Pradesh, congressmen this time not satisfied only with ‘Manthan’ of top guns. People here are saying that the party is in this situation due to these people only, who are doing ‘Manthan’ on the failure of Congress in the election. In the meantime, Congress has given the responsibility to ex-central minister Bhanvar Jitendra Singh to advise the high command for the changes that need to be done in the party.

The congressmen this time are very much angry over Sandeep Singh, PA to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. They are alleging him to supersede the state chief of Congress. People like Zeeshan Haider, who had been convenor of the media department of the state unit of the party, is saying openly that ‘Priyanka ke naukar ne party bench di’. Zeeshan has opened the fire against Sandeep Singh right from the next day, the party lost elections in UP. Zeeshan told that it was Sandeep only, who took all the decisions. Either they were related to the organization or they were regarding the election. He is the sole responsible person for the failure of the party this time. It was the golden opportunity before the party that it could have a handsome number of seats since we had Priyanka with us continuously. Good planning could have done so but he (Sandeep) was just making money in the name of Priyanka. He deputed the people from left origination on the key posts of the organization. Party paid a lot because of this decision. Our known leaders from UP left the organization because of him only. We should stick to our basics.
Left can’t be right for congress
An old man of the party, who has seen the golden days of Congress, says on the condition of not quoting his name, our ideology is center to right not left. Do the top leadership is not familiar with it? We should know it in better ways that the left can’t be right to Congress. If the person is in Congress, he must have to follow the ideologies of Congress only. If he can’t, he must go.

Jitendra on a hard task
It would be a hard task for Jitendra Singh to advise top leadership about Sandeep Singh. Priyanka has overseen the party for three years, but it is also a fact that she hasn’t met people openly. She might have no clues about Sandeep and the aggression of Congressmen regarding him. So collecting the views of the people and informing the top leadership about it, adding his views, is not going to be easy for Jitendra.
