New Delhi: A 76-year-old man has died in Kalaburagi region of Karnataka on Wednesday. He is being suspected of corona virus. It is being told that this person had recently returned from Saudi Arabia. The number of corona virus cases in the country has crossed 60.

PTI tweeted that it was suspected that the person who died was infected with the corona virus. However, it has not yet been proved whether the person who died was vulnerable to the corona virus. If it did, it would be the first death from Corona virus in India.

According to the District Health and Family Welfare Department, the deceased’s name is Mohammad Hussain Siddiqui. Department officials said, “His samples have been sent to a lab in Bangalore for examination and the report is awaited.”

Two days ago on March 9, it was also reported that one person died in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He was admitted to the hospital after feeling suspicious symptoms of the corona virus. However, it was not proved later that he died due to corona virus.
